Beautiful shot! I love beeches so much; it's my favorite deciduous tree. This shot reminds me of Velebit here so much, unlike any other I’ve seen. Your beech and place almost looks the same as one spot in Velika Paklenica valley. If you have time and will take a look at this or this shot from beech forest on Velebit (not that place I mentioned).

Do you like it? I think that the beeches of my Pyrenees are very similar to the croatians.

I love beeches too.
