Nice TR

Sounds like you had fun despite the weather, and besides, it's quite useful to get some practice with bad weather.

Re: Nice TR

Indeed. I even think we have learned more this week than we would have done if we had a week of excellent weather.
Cheers,
Koen.

fun reading!

This is a fun read, sitting in Zermatt right now, we passed through Lac de Dix & Pas De Chevres 6-7 days ago (on the walking haute route) We have had 15 days of perfect weather. It suprises me that nobody comes out this time of year whilst the weather is still so good.

Re: fun reading!

Thanks! I wish we had such a good weather like you have for the moment (as we would have climbed the Mont Blanc the Cheilon when the conditions were good!).
It's correct what you say, the weather in september and the beginning of october is often superb! However, snow is coming on tomorrow, I saw.
Enjoy your time over there!

Re: beautiful photos!

Thanks, glad you like them! That's one advantage to bad weather, the photo's one takes can often look even better than when they would be taken in good wetter!
Cheers!
