A Pair of Red Soldier Beetles

Common Red Soldier Beetles (Rhagonycha fulva) are popularly known as blood suckers because of their red color although they do not actually suck blood. They can be found in bushes or on grass and fields.They are active during the daylight hours, when they hunt for small insects on top of flowers.
