Very impressive on the geology of the area! I don't pay as much attention to that as I probably should. Hope is actually on my short list for this August, only if I end up in the Sawatch for the last two days. Not my preferred option, but we'll see...
The approach up to Mt. Hope is unendingly steep. It really sucked! But the summit was pretty cool. I actually enjoyed neighboring Quail Mtn. much more. Take a look at North Apostle. Great ridge, light class-3 scrambling and killer views!
