A Sense of Scale...

First-time GNP visitors are always surprised at the size of these mountains, because it is almost impossible getting a sense of scale from pictures if the reality hasn't been seen. One way of establishing scale is to include some object in the photo that has a known size, something I find quite difficult to do, but in the instance here, got lucky. The Many Glacier Hotel is a large building, of known size, and works nicely against Swiftcurrent Lake and the huge Henkel/Altyn Massif. These mountains are BIG, and you can see it!
