A Tree in a Field of Hoodoos

A Tree in a Field of Hoodoos

A tree stands sentinel among the hoodoos (pronounced "who-dews") of Bryce Canyon National Park, UT. As I was shooting the photo, another visitor set up beside me and commented that the lone tree made an interesting shot. I replied that it had probably been photographed 10,000 times, but that this one would be mine. After returning, I decided that most of my photographic effort duplicated what was already well-covered on SP--no surprise there. But, I couldn't find a photo of this tree, so thought I'd go ahead and share it. Imaged in August 09.
