A view to the West from...

A view to the West from Breithorn showing off the many and very dangerous cornices that form here. The english translation for this section of the peak is "Maneater" for good reason. In the backgoung one can see Liskanmm poking up along the end of the ridge line the peak in front of it is a subsiduary of Breithorn. In the background just off center is the Monte Rosa massif . Pollux and Castor are not in this picture they are more to the right. Taken with a Leica M6 35mm lens at 250~f8 on kodacrome 64
