Above the clouds in the morning. Looking down from the east-ridge of Piz Palü towards the shoulder. In the background are the Ortler Alps with the triumvirate Ortler, Monte Zebru and Gran Zebru.
We had luck. Nikman and I started early in the morning before the mass came up the route. You can see two climbers on the shoulder.

Hasn't voted | 26th July?! We ascended and descended Palü via East-Ridge.
We had just the weekend free time. We camped at the glacier and did this trip fast enough to get home on the same day.
