Now that I'm retired and traveling, I don't spend much time on SP, either I'm out hiking or climbing, or often don't have good internet service (or enough left on my data plan!). I just saw your trip report the other day when I was looking for some beta on SP. Sounds like you had a great time with the kids in the Colca area! I enjoyed the report and the pics, thanks for posting. Really makes me miss Peru, I was back for a month the end of 2013 but didn't get to climb any mountains. I did do some hiking, including a high altitude trek between a couple of villages where I used to work and live. Got to visit with a lot of friends and spent good time in Cotahuasi and Arequipa.
