After spending much of the afternoon of our second day at Kool Aid Lake huddling in our tents, the storm abated in the evening enough to provide us with this beautiful sunset. August 1999.

Hasn't voted | Hey thanks Byron. I've been thinking of contacting you about a climb or two in the Olympics. I'm especially interested in Elk Lick, Deception, Washington, and The Brothers. I suspect you've already done some of those if not all. Do you repeat? :-) -Bob | | Posted Jul 26, 2007 9:06 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Elk Lick sounds really fun and exciting. Unfortunately I don't have the time this year for a climb. I'm working really hard to go back to India to visit my Fiancee. If you do go, I wish you all the best on your climbs and I'll be looking forward to seeing your pictures:) God bless! | | Posted Jul 26, 2007 9:18 pm |

Hasn't voted | I've often found that the most spectacular sunsets come after a stormy day, and this one looks well worth the wait! | | Posted Jan 26, 2008 10:06 am |

Hasn't voted | Yeah, I guess there needs to be something in the sky for the low sun to reflect off the bottom of, and storm clouds do a great job of that. But everyhing is more intense in the mountains IMO! Thanks John! | | Posted Jan 26, 2008 11:40 am |
