thanks! ;o)) I was myself thinking generally about the problem of the routes. I think in the end, all pages should have precise routes descriptions at least on the main routes. But at present, I do not think, that the maintainer should be responsible to do all these routes descriptions because of the following reasons:
1. Maybe, there are people, who climbed the routes themselves and could do it better (your point).
2. If the mountain-maintainers have to add the route descriptions of all or many routes on their own mountain-pages, they maybe do not have the time anymore to add descriptions of routes (which they climbed themselves) on other mountainpages (which they do not maintain).
3. I could retire directly if I should add a precise description of every route of the 3 Zinnen and all other mountains .... ;o)) I would be glad, if I could add at least all routes of the Mont Maudit (about 40) ....
4. We get more and more new members. But many "famous" mountains are already done. So there should at least be the option for such new members to write something on "famous" routes.
Hello andrea, many thanks. Two weeks ago, I was in the Val Ferret and saw Triolet from there. On July 18th, I wanted to cross the bridge over the torrent in Val Veny on the way to the Monzino hut, but there was no bridge. Later I heard about the serious accident. Very sad.
Cheers, Hiltrud

Untitled CommentHi Rahel,
Nice, nice, nice ... It's hard to do it better.
There is so much info behind the links !
Of course the routes could be on a separate
page, but the overview is great already
and the details are best done by someone who
has climbed the route himself, so I would
vote for that separately.
Congrats !
Ulli
