rgg by his favourite cairn high on south ridge of Belvedere 11th September 2012 - this was the last summit of 4 we climbed together - and for rgg the last of a mountaineering furlough which had taken in over 50 summits in 3 months. This has earned him the accolade of Dutch Peak Monster

Going up was easy

... but all that descending made me feel my knees for weeks afterwards!

There is a simple solution to that - take up paragliding! And if you avoid thermals, you will get down more quickly - and save time - and hey presto, get to climb more peaks!
