Ak-Oyuk Peak (3690 m), Altay
NW aspect, view from Riga-Turist Pass.
Ak-Oyuk is the highest peak in the neighborhood of Akkem and Kucherla Lakes, but of course it is dwarfed by nearly 3,000-ft higher Belukha further South. It is commonly climbed from Akkem side by mountaineers looking for altitude adjustment before going to Belukha.
