Re: canaima

kuzma, the months with less rain are between December and March - better for hiking - between April and October is the rainy season. to the tepuis - with camping at the summit - december-march - for the waterfalls like santo angel, april-october.

Re: canaima

for 10-14 days I recommend auyan tepui, but the logistics being alone is complex, to arrive and leave the indigenous community Uruyen - where the journey begins - is by small plane, there are 120 km of hiking round trip, walk in jungle, swamps, rocks, very hard and intense traverse. guides or porters are Mandatory, all the tepuis are located in indigenous communities, and are necessary for a crossing in auyan tepui. search for auyan tepui trek for more information.

Re: canaima

Another option is Mount Roraima, with easier and cheaper logistics, crossing in 6-8 days
