Alborz Mountains, Iran, around Tehran : Photo Albums : SummitPost

Why there?

It is quite easy - I got to Iran as my work brought me here. After 1 year of doing nothing I "discovered" there are mountains around (OK, 2km straight line from my balcony). I also "discovered" that Telecabin is not the only possibility to get to the highest peak here, which is Tochal 3962m. And this is how I started my hiking adventure.
Below you can find some pictures which I've taken.

Getting There

As I live in Tehran there is no "getting there" - it is just there.

Thank you Nader, I just need a bit time to create the reports...
And right now I'm going to sleep (it is 22:18 here) because at 03:00 I will wake up - Tochal is waiting - I wanna get it there in the winter as most probably I will leave Iran soon...
