A couple of other climbers were hot on our heels as we hiked and scrambled over the Imbabura summit ridge.
Apparently, it's not all that common that the weather is good enough for a safe traverse of the ridge, we were lucky that day - well, we did help our luck a bit by leaving Quito real early.
