Alta Peak
Alta Peak
Daughter Lisa and IMy second trek this season was with my daughter Lisa on an over night trip to Alta Peak, in the Sequoia National Park. We camped at Mehrten Meadow where we had a doe we named "Georgia" befriend us. The camp site was beautiful and peaceful. We made the trek to the peak the next morning which took about 2 1/2 hours. On the top we had a 360 degree spectacular view.
