Amazing frozen waterfall in the Gautschgrotte near Hohnstein
The last time this happened here was in 1997. Normally, in winter, one sees a large icicle on top of the rock wall and an ice hub at the bottom. Due to the extremely cold temperatures during the first two weeks in February 2012, the bottom hub and the ice on top grew and grew until the two met, forming this perfect structure 22 meters high.
