These are all great photos but...

I fear they will get lost in the mountain of SP content. Ideally it would be cool if you can attach them to routes, areas, etc. But at the very least I think you should attach them to the ice climbing forum: http://www.summitpost.org/custom-object/153849/ice-climbing-forum.html

It varies from year to year. This was last season on the first week of Dec. It is nothing like it this season. VERY thin and hard right now and won't look like this pic at all this season most likely. It is usually in through April.
