..that's what you call a photo opportunity!!!

Those two lived to a ripe old age. Sadly Wiggerl Vorg and Fritz Kasparek were not so fortunate.

Yes, Fritz Kasparek fell to his death in 1954 when the summit cornice of Salcantay in Preu gave away. Wiggerl Vörg fell in the war.

I found a book in the bookshelf:
“Von Peilstein zur Eiger-Nordwand” by Fritz Kasparek, 1951.
