| I loved this hike. Saw the trailhead off Clingman's Dome trail. With all the people headed up to Clingman's Dome, I was shocked that my gf and I were the only ones hiking this trail! I think this was my favorite "smoky mountains" experience. Hiked with mebo1126. | |

| It was a great way to get away from the crowds on Clingman's Dome and the views were as good as the Smokies have to offer. Also, the trail is in great condition since the Park Service was just completing a tremendous job of outstanding trail maintenance. Thanks NPS! | |

| after feeling bad driving to the parking lot of Clingmans dome i decided to hike to Andrews Bald and back. nice little hike. only one on the trail and was able to get away from the crowds at CD. saw some snakes. Cloudy so i was only able to get some slight views through the clouds | |

| My nephew and I hiked to Andrew's Bald on a beautiful spring day in 2000. The view was clear all the way to Fontana. Half of the times I have been to Clingman's Dome parking lot, the mountain is socked in so this was one of those special days. | |
