Annotated photo of west and south side routes on Crystal Crag. Blue line is the south ridge route. Red line is the main couloir on the west side, which joins the south ridge halfway up. Another option is the "one tree couloir" which also splits the west side of the crag. Photo taken July 2002 from Mammoth Crest.

that have never done this type of climbing, the route inserts provide sense of what is involved.
