Another view of Broken Top's summit block from the south ridge, Aug. 7th, 2005. We found three ways up; a high 4rth/low 5th class direct approach from the NW ridge; a fourth class cleft on the west face and the easiest, a fourth class scramble around the left side of the summit block and up the north/NE side.
