no water at kirkridge

We pushed this section mostly after dark one night when we discovered that the Kirkridge shelter does not have a water source. Feh! Still, the long descent into DWG at night was interesting.

sorry, but I must disagree with you. Both times I was there (5 or 6 years ago and last tursday) the pump was working. It does take a little bit of a search to find. Maybe you did not see the pump in the dark.

Well (so to speak), I was there in November of 2002 and the pump was not functioning. Perhaps it had been shut down for the season. In any case, you're the man on the scene (as well as The Man), so I'll take your word on it.
