Approach to Cerro Cuerno
These are the flanks of Cerro Cuerno. We spent a day playing around on the ice/penitente field just to the right of center. Since we didn't bring anything more than crampons and an ice axe apiece, we climbed the slope until we didn't feel comfortable with the angle. It was a good workout for the following day's carry to Nido.
