Approach to South Colony Lakes
2/11/06: Josh stands in front of our first good views of Crestone Needle, upon our approach to South Colony Lakes and ultimately "Obstruction Peak." We had been hiking for four hours to get to this point, and because of powdery snow in the trees above us, it would take another two hours to get to Lower South Colony Lake and set up camp.
