Looks fantastic! Almost enough in itself to justify the airfare from Scotland!

Hi Dan,



Alpine climbing in South Africa, and in the Western Cape in particular, does apparently bear some resemblance to Scottish winter climbing with frozen turf and dodgy ice being the order of the day - you should feel right at home.



I would not, however, recommend travelling all the way to SA with the expectation of doing any alpine climbing, as the conditions are very fickle and there are only a few good days every year.



The rock climbing, on the other hand, is superb all year round, and there are plenty of other attractions down here.
