Approaching the summit ridge...
Approaching the summit ridge of Mount Price on the "Slabs of Insanity". The left hand notch is closer to the summit, but requires exposed climbing to follow the ridge to the top. An easier route is found by taking the righthand notch, then dropping down onto the west side of the crest and making an ascending traverse to the summit. Taken August 2002.

"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "press on" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."   --Calvin Coolidge
