I always have to smile, because it's called "Gebirge" (which means mountains or rock mass, for the non-german speaking ;))
That's similar to the "Leithagebirge" in Burgenland / Austria, where the highest "summit" is Sonnenberg, reaching a height of 484 m after all... :)
Really, nice to hear it. Maybe you have some old shots of it. This week I got the Area/Range Bavarian Pre-Alps from mvs, maybe you could support me with some shots. Schinder, Haslerspitz, Grosser Traithen etc.

Re: Nice page...But it rises 410m above the Rhine. So the mountains are more exposed than some 4000er in the Monte Rosa ;-)
