Ascending Grand Traverse

When you finally reach tree line, you will see a large talus field. We climbed to the top of this where we entered this narrow gulley. We hoped it would take us to the Grand Traverse ridge, 2000' above us; however, this gauntlet of obstacles had different ideas and eventually halted our progress. We had to descend about 50' to a grassy ledge from where we could continue to higher ground.
