True summit?

Hi Miguel,

This photo can proove very useful, so thanks for adding.

Anyway, I have heard conflicting reports as to where exactly the highest point is. When I was there, I was told that it was the rock near Triple Point. Marcelonatural says it is in Brazil, but I don't know where. This photo looks like it is on the rim, and quite aways from Triple Point.

Do you know exactly where the true summit is? If so, feel free to to add an addition/correction to the page. How far is it from Roque El Hotel?

I assume you pass over the true summit heading for Laberintos and the Valley of Crystals as the walk along the rim looks like this view you have pictured here.

I guess it doesn't matter much as the summit block is a realitively flat huge plateau, covered with many outcrops and bumps, all of very similar altitudes, but it might be useful information for the page.

Thanks for any help!
