This picture shows the start of the Northeast Face route in winter. The route is possibly the most popular climb on winterized Tahquitz. The are at least some rock protection possibilities in the ice choked dihedral and the snow and ice are fairly deep here. March 12, 2010 photo: Alois Smrz.
