Strange looking bulge

That's an interesting looking formation on the summit. Did you have to climb up the side we can see or is there an easier way in the back?

Yes, we had to climb up in the right hand part of the photo. No easier way in the back. Look at the size of the persons on top: It was no more than 10 m high. With a series of steps hacked into the ice, crampons on your feet and an ice axe to stabilize your vertical body position - no problem.
