	Hasn't voted	As we came off the summit, we saw this mother grouse and two babies. As Dad took pictures of it the mother attacked us. The attack didn't work as we just stood there getting pictures.

A mother grouse has attacked me before, except I didn’t see it coming. It scared the crap out of me because it made this loud crazy sounding hiss. I ended up beating it out of the air with my pole without thinking about it. I felt really bad about possibly killing a mother grouse that was only trying to protect her young. Oh well, I guess its a lesson learned. Great pic by the way!
