South Route  Sucess!

As Matt said, no need to do the chockstone route. We went around which was pretty easy. The final 5.0 moves to the top do not require a rope to those comfortable with hard scrambling. Easier than a lot of 4th class moves in my opinion. Maybe it was 4th class? Rapping down was nice, but not needed.

South Route  Sucess!

Did on our Inspiration Traverse trip after doing Dorado Needle the day before. The chockstone gully is not required...you can scramble around the right side of the slightly lower false summit (Class 3) to get to the notch above said gully, then climb 25 feet to the summit. Rap slings are plentiful. Beautiful views!

South Route  Sucess!

A great glacial ramble. The final scramble was not as bad as expected. Recommend going straight up the gulley and over the chockstone, then up and left. Some pro useful.
