Autumn waters

Autumn in the lower part of Mala Pakenica canyon comes at the end of October, sometimes even beginning of November, while that happens in the upper part of the valley already at the end of September. That is huge difference which allows one to enjoy very long autumn as colors gradually descent down the Velebit, from harsh mountain climate zone to coastal zone which has Mediterranean climate. Of course this isn't Mediterranean type of climate which is found on Sicily or Crete for example but quite harsher.
