Avalanche Chute - Nohku Crags

About halfway up the dirt road to the parking lot below Agnes Lake is an avalanche chute that reaches the road (out of view in this photo). The road in view is part of the Michigan Ditch system. This route provides access to the west flank of the north ridge of Nohku Crags. Colorado State Park. November 26, 2006.

this avy prone gulley off of the Michigan Ditch is great to rip when stable. See my photos in this album titled Michigan Ditch. There is an old road on the left just below the ditch that takes you to an old miners cabin.
