Re: I think...Hm? Now I still don't know. Averau is the high summit. But if the picture is from the west side, then also Nuvolau is on it. I first thought it was taken somewhere below Cinque Torri.

Re: I think...better say from SW, from somewhere on the Montagna d'Andraz, the left summit is the Punta Nord, the right one is the main summit, and, after the Forcella Nuvolau, on the right, the rib of Nuvolau ending to the Gusela

Re: I thinkI think that the picture was taken from near the Passo Falzarego. My son and I were there three years ago. I still have stains from that red mud on my sox. I posted a picture that my son took from slightly higher than this picture--also longer focal length. I would put it here if I knew how.
