Voted 10/10 | Man, I loved carrying that pack! Somehow, when in the wilderness, everything seems to fade away. All of life's complications and hassles, phone calls and deadlines, and the pressure to be what everyone wants you to be fades away into the simple and sublime, yet profoundly wonderful task of breathing in and breathing out, taking one step at a time in a dangerous and unforgiving wilderness that requires your submittance to her rules and a reorientation to her pace.
