I enjoyed this route up Pine very much. I combined it with Dawson then down into Fish Fork via Pine Mtn. Ridge. Beautiful wild country; but due to the Sheep Mtn. Wilderness boundary, you can't leave a car at Columbine Campground anymore. That makes for a very long hike back up to Blue Ridge.
