| I got a guided tour by Dean the first time and then led Greg and David up here the second time. Prior to that, there were a few lame attempts on which I turned back. Once by getting lost, once by roadwork and then once more as I afeared of trespassing issues. | |

| The first time I went in was with BobBolton, the second time with Dennis Poulin on the way home from doing No. Gardner and the third time was with Eric Noel after another peakbagging time. The value of knowing exactly where everything is back there is why I went in 3 times, not because it is worth more than one visit to that creepy area. | |

| My compact vehicle nearly grounded-out at the bottom of the steep hill. I had to put my foot all the way down on the accelerator to get through that section. Then the road was too muddy to comfortably continue driving much further on, so I had to park and hike (run!!!) the rest of the way on foot. I felt very uncomfortable in the area, and I kept feeling like somebody might come out of one of the local shacks in the area and shoot me just for being there. At least several lots in the area were for sale, and I got a chance to look at those while en-route. I did not like this county highpoint, and I don't plan to go back. | |
