Very beautiful flower and photo! I always have a soft spot for the the mountains gentler side.

Thanks, Byron. Yes, it is nice to see such small, ephemeral beauty in such harsh conditions. I have a particular affinity for tundra wildflowers and desert wildflowers for the very reason that they thrive in such difficult circumstances.
