Badlands Peak Route-- In the Col
After a scramble from the summit down a steep, narrow ridge full of rotten "rock" (really little more than hardened mud in many places), I reached this col (shown from a different perspective in other route photos on the Badlands Peak page). This view is to the north. I turned right and followed a gully to a narrow wash, which eventually led to Gower Gulch. The wash had some tricky Class 3 and 4 spots. Gower Gulch offers an easy walk back to the trailhead area.
