Rincão do Inferno
The Rincão do Inferno is a large area of abrupt outcrops and cliffs that extend around the Camaquã River, surrounded by vegetation consisting of a field-forest mosaic, inhabited by a small population of remnant quilombolas. The displacement of huge blocks of stone subjected to a process of disintegration of millions of years and which built cracks, fissures, shelters of the strangest forms and the rain and wind action was stripping the compact rock, sculpting different figures and shapes.
The Rincão do Inferno extend for more than two kilometers and has an approximate elevation of 241 meters.
