| We took the longer, more scenic rout northbound on the AT from PA 309. I led an ODC trip that day. We had beautiful weather and a total blast. The Knife's Edge and Bear Rocks were especially memorable, but the perch at Bake Oven Knob is a real autumn treat. I only lived in this part of the country for 18 months, but wish I had visited more of the mountain summits while I was there. | |
