Balanced rocks by moonlight
An August 21st, 2005 hike of longs peak brought me this nice moon shot. We started hiking ~ 3am and just as we reached the keyhole the sun began to rise. Looping around to the western slopes still hidden from the alpen glow i got this nice shot. I'm just bummed that my shots of the moon through the keyhole didn't come out as nice. and for scale...the rock balanced on top is about 25-30 ft long.
