| Well, leave it to a peak-hunter to be unable to just stick to a section backpack of the AT. We hit several side-trips during the week, and Ball Mountain was one of them. It's a bummer that there are no views, but the poison ivy was manageable and we didn't see any nice little logs/stumps that screamed "Copperhead Nest" so we forged on to the top. Neat to find the geo-cache. | |
