Ballunspitze (2671m) from the NW, from the dam at the west side of Kops Speicher
According to my map, Kops is at 1855 m and the dam is slightly lower. That means it's over 800m up.
On the north face, on the left in this picture, a serious Via Ferrata leads to the top. We had selected a less impressive looking and much easier goal today, the Breitspitze (2196m). Only hiking, less than 400 m up.
