Bartram Trail trailhead on Hale Ridge Road

It ain't pretty, but it's obvious. This trailhead is on USFS 7, about 2 tenths of a mile south of where the pavement ends. You get to USFS 7 from NC Road 1628. There's a Christmas tree farm and old chicken farm building at the intersection, and the turnoff is directly across from a mailbox numbered 3821. I believe the intersection is actually in GA, but you flirt so often with the state line in that area that it's anyone's guess. (Feb 2008)
