Base Camp Food

Obviously you can't pack a dutch oven very far. But for camp at the trailhead or to pack a few slices of something so high on the real food scale for that first night out, take along some dutch oven pizza. Its easy and unbeliveably good. Mmmmmmm pizza, could there be anything better to revive you after a long day on the mountain? Selkirk Mountains, August 2004
